Hello and welcome to The Lineout Club, my personal blog about all things Rugby. I started this blog because I absolutely love rugby and wanted to share my passion for the sport with others.
Rugby is a sport that is very dear to me and I have been playing it since I was a young boy. I have represented my County at schoolboy level and have played senior rugby for over 30 years.
I have also been fortunate enough to coach rugby at a number of local clubs as a Level 2 Qualified Coach. For my sins, I am also a qualified Referee!

What is this all about?
My aim with this blog is to provide basic information about rugby, but also to write from a personal point of view.
I want to share my experiences of playing and coaching the sport, as well as my thoughts on the current state of rugby.
I will use my experience and knowledge to provide an insight into rugby equipment, clothing, kit and even training and coaching methods
